Although in an interior design project there are many factors that must be taken into account to achieve exactly the planned result, the types of LED lighting used are one of those that can most influence the sensations that the space finally transmits.
Among the types of LED light, we can distinguish three shades, and each of them is used depending on the atmosphere you want to create. To use them correctly, just take into account some recommendations and you will get exactly what you were looking for.

3 types of an LED light according to the environment
1. Cold light
This is a type of LED light with a color temperature above 5,000 Kelvin degrees. It is light with bluish tones, stimulating and perfect for areas where greater concentration is required. Precisely for this reason, some of the places where we can commonly find this type of LED light are laboratories, hospitals, in the retail sector, and in areas with high traffic of people.
However, it is not a type of light that is used in homes, restaurants, offices, and hotels, as these places require rather a type of light that invites you to sit down and have a good time in a quiet and pleasant way, and cold light does not encourage precisely that.

2. Warm light: 2700k or less
Warm light is below 3,300 degrees Kelvin and is a type of LED light with red or orange tones that is essential for creating a relaxing atmosphere. This light provides enough brightness to see clearly, but in a way that makes any space the perfect place to rest and relax, such as in living rooms, bedrooms, restaurants in table areas, and hotels.
The difference between using one type of LED light or another is great and would explain for example why there are places that we do not find cozy and pleasant, such as a hospital, and others where we want to spend time and relax, such as the living room of a house. In this case, warm light is what gives the feeling that a place is cozy, and therefore, the temperature and intensity of the light are what can completely change the sensations that a place transmits.

3. Neutral light: between 2700k and 4000k
Neutral light is light that is around 4,000 degrees Kelvin and has tones that are neither warm nor cold. It is a light that also favors concentration, so it can often be found in offices and study areas, but also in spaces such as kitchens or bathrooms, where the lighting first thing in the morning should be stimulating.
Precisely for this reason, this type of LED light is also widely used in the retail sector both to create an attractive image of a store and to encourage consumption. Neutral light is perfect for highlighting colors and stimulating people (rather than encouraging relaxation and rest). The same is true in other types of stores such as food stores, where not only is light needed to provide visibility, but also to help present products in an appealing way while encouraging customers to make a purchase.
But beyond the recommendations that exist for the correct use of LED light types, it is a question that also depends largely on the taste of each person. While it is true that cold light is not welcoming and warm light is, sometimes people prefer a more neutral type of LED light even for places like homes.
