Wall controls for ceiling fans: guide to choosing the right one

In ventilation projects, choosing the right control system is essential to ensure an intuitive and efficient user experience. Wall controllers offer a practical and elegant solution, especially recommended for shared or collective-use spaces, such as offices, hotels, restaurants, or residential common areas. Being fixed in a visible and accessible spot, they prevent remote loss and allow a more universal use by any user.

They also offer a cleaner visual integration by eliminating the need for mobile devices or remote controls. In this guide, we explain the different options available in our range, so you can choose the most suitable one based on the type of fan, installation style, and space requirements.

2. Wireless wall controls for DC motor fans

A modern alternative for those looking to maintain the room’s aesthetics while keeping a fixed control. These controllers work via radio frequency and are fully compatible with the included remote and Tuya Smart.

If your fan has a DC motor, there are two specially designed versions for this motor type, with a clean aesthetic and wireless operation, compatible with standard CE mechanism boxes (round or square).

2.1. Rotary and customizable version

Radiofrequency-only wireless controller. 6 speeds. Features a rotary button to turn the fan on or off. Also available in customizable finishes to match your project’s style. The rest of the fan’s functions remain accessible via the remote, and it's Tuya compatible.

*Note: For fans with lights, the light switch is not included. You can choose a compatible mechanism for your project or use the remote and Tuya app.

2.2. Glass touch version

This version features a clean, frameless front made of organic glass, with the same functions as the remote control, but on the wall. It allows light adjustment (if the fan supports it) and eliminates the need for extra remotes, providing a seamless and centralized user experience.

  • Reference 33987: white wall controller with a sleek frameless design made of organic glass. Fits standard flush-mounted boxes (round or square). Works via radio frequency and supports light dimming if the fan allows.

  • Reference 33988: same features as the above, but in black — ideal for darker interiors or more minimalist settings.

Both models are ideal to keep your space free from extra remotes while enjoying total control with just one gesture.

For AC motor fans

Reference 33928 is the ideal option for AC motor fans. This controller allows you to manage 3 speeds and installs easily on the wall. A simple and effective solution for spaces where a fixed physical control is preferred.

*Important: this model is not compatible with a remote control simultaneously, so you must choose one control method.
