Synchronizing the NASSAU fan control

Making the NASSAU 33478 and 33487 fan with DC motor respond to the remote control commands is simple, the steps to achieve this are as follows.

Instructions for control synchronisation

  1. After installation and complete assembly, turn off the power to the fan for at least 10 seconds.
  2. Insert the battery into the remote control.
  3. Select the combination you wish to use with the micro-switches (1-2-3-4-5) on the back of the remote control just above the battery.
  4. Reconnect the fan to the power supply. The receiver will be active for synchronisation for only one minute after the power is turned back on.
  5. Press and hold the power button for 6-60 seconds or until you see the fan move slightly.
  6. Execute a command and the fan will obey. In case the fan does not follow the given commands, repeat the operation starting from the power cut mentioned in step 1.

Synchronise more than one Nassau fan

If you have more than one fan in the same room, and you want them to operate independently, you will need to follow the same steps as above. You will need to assign a different combination of microswitches (1-2-3-4-5) for each of the fans to be controlled.

But remember that you must also remove the current from each fan independently. A general or common cut-off is not useful as it can be misleading and both fans would try to synchronise with the same control.

The aim is that the operation of one fan does not affect the operation of other fans. If you want to synchronise and control several NASSAU with the same remote control, you only need to issue the same code (combination of microswitches (1-2-3-4-5)) to each of the fans to be controlled.

SMART FAN connection

Watch this video if you want to know how to connect the ceiling fan with SMART FAN technology to any device.

SMART FAN technology allows you to:

  • Operate the ceiling fan
  • Program the on/off switch
  • Create customised scenes for each room
  • Regulate the speeds
  • Control the light
