Faro Barcelona has recently obtained the REDUZCO seal awarded by the Spanish Government's Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, a milestone in our commitment to sustainability.

This seal certifies that Faro Barcelona is not only measuring its greenhouse gas emissions but has also managed to reduce them by 8.94% during the 2020-2022 period compared to the 2019-2021 period. This includes the manufacturing and distribution activities of our lighting fixtures and ceiling fans, as well as the packaging used by Faro Barcelona, through to the energy efficiency of our facilities.

We find ourselves in a scenario where climate change is manifesting in increasingly alarming ways, and the need to adopt sustainable practices is imperative. Recent studies suggest that if drastic measures are not taken now, the consequences will be irreversible not only for the environment but also for the economy and society. In this scenario, every action counts.

Our actions

Faro Barcelona, in an effort to contribute with our actions and in obligation to our duty as a company, embarked on a journey to measure and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. This effort earned us the ISO 14064-1 certification, an international recognition that confirms Faro Barcelona measures its greenhouse gas emissions comprehensively. Behind this milestone are great professionals who took care of optimizing our operations, from the supply chain to waste management practices.

Today, thanks to the REDUZCO seal from the Ministry of Ecological Transition, we can affirm that we are not only measuring our emissions but also significantly reducing them.

But our ambition does not stop here. Each step we take in this direction strengthens our belief that a greener future is possible.

We believe in honest, close, and accessible design, always aiming to reduce our impact on the planet. And for this, we must continue working to consolidate a more sustainable and environmentally friendly growth model.

We continue!
