The document transparently reflects our firm commitment to sustainability and details the most important milestones we have achieved in recent years with a clear objective: to minimize our environmental footprint and maximize our social impact.

Our Carbon Footprint
In 2019, we obtained certification for the calculation of our carbon footprint according to the international standard ISO14064-1, which allows us to know the real volume of greenhouse gas emissions generated by our activity and identify areas for improvement.
In the last three years, we have reduced our carbon footprint by 17.6%, thanks to the adoption of more efficient technologies in our products and the implementation of renewable energies in our offices.
We discovered a revealing fact: 55.26% of our carbon footprint comes from energy consumption during the use of our products. This figure inspired us to title our sustainability report "Turn Off the Light," in commitment to the responsible use of energy.
Moving Towards a Circular Economy
In our commitment to the circular economy, we promote the use of low environmental impact materials in all our products. We design with a minimalist and timeless approach to ensure their durability, and make our products easily disassemblable to facilitate their repair and subsequent recycling at the end of their useful life.
The manufacturing of products accounts for 38% of our carbon footprint, so eco-design is essential to reduce our environmental impact. We explore the use of recycled materials to enhance circularity. An example of this commitment is our lighting collection Tierra, Mar and Aire.
Quality Control
Our products are rigorously tested in our in-house laboratory, meeting the highest standards in the industry. We comply with the international standard EN60598 for safety and the European ERP standard for energy efficiency.
We have our own quality laboratory where we conduct these tests. Before any product is released to the market, our technical team conducts exhaustive tests to calibrate all parameters. In addition, we have a Quality Management System based on the ISO 9001 standard.
Supply Chain Optimization
Supply chain optimization is essential to achieving our sustainability goals. Operational efficiency not only improves our competitiveness but also significantly reduces our environmental impact.
We strive to ensure that every link in our chain operates efficiently and responsibly. This involves working closely with all our partners and suppliers, promoting sustainable practices, and sharing our commitment with them. We engage all our partners in this common effort, promoting waste reduction, the use of recyclable materials, and the implementation of more efficient technologies and processes.
Every improvement, no matter how small, contributes to our goal of reducing our environmental footprint and promoting a more responsible and conscious business model.

We are committed to the well-being and growth of all the people who make up Faro Barcelona. We believe in the richness of having diverse perspectives. Ensuring this richness and diversity is a constant effort to which we are truly committed.
At Faro Barcelona, we implement an equality plan and eliminate the pay gap in all categories. 44% of our managerial positions are held by women. Additionally, we have provided more than 3,000 hours of training in sustainability and work ethics, empowering all members of Faro Barcelona to actively contribute to sustainable change.
