Tune into 1968

On April 28th, Faro Barcelona will present its latest designer lamp at Biosca&Botey, 1968. The lamp was designed by Jordi Busquets and clearly pays homage to the first television sets, which used to occupy a special place in people’s homes.

1968 is also the main attraction of the exhibit at our Barcelona store. For this occasion, we have envisioned a recreation of a sober room, filled with details and a Labayru i González buffet, where the lamp would be the main character accompanied by the likeable Ceferino rhino by Ornamante.

All of this will be a reality on April 28th, at the official presentation. With the slogan #sintoniza1968 (#tuneinto1968) we would like to invite journalist and professionals and designers from our industry to come and see our most recent design, made entirely in Spain.

Those who attend this event will experience firsthand the developing process of the idea, from its inception to the final piece, and the love and the attention to details that its fabrication implies. They will also uncover the secrets behind Faro Barcelona’s latest creation.
