How to take photographs of interiors correctly?
The best way to publicise your projects is to be able to show the final result, which is why we encourage you, once your project is finished, to generate content and share it on your Instagram profile to get more visibility.
As we know that sometimes it is a bit complicated to know how to take pictures, we leave you some tips to get the most out of your spaces.
1.Find the right light
Lighting in photography is critical. Many of the light sources are artificial and will sometimes have different colour temperatures from each other.
In order to make the best possible use of the light we have, look at the different options available to you and see if they create an interesting atmosphere.
It is always better to give priority to natural light coming in from the windows, as it will help to produce a magical atmosphere.

For the use of artificial light, if possible, use a remote flash mounted on a tripod. In case there is more than one person with you, a reflector light can be a good solution. These items will help you to adjust the lighting differences between indoors and outdoors.
2. Organize the spaces before taking the photographs
Before taking the picture think about what elements you want to show. The decorative elements, the atmosphere created by the light source and so on.
It is important to know how to convey the atmosphere and feeling of the place you want to photograph. If you notice that something is missing in a certain environment, add decorative elements, cushions, magazines, books...

Try to tell a story with your photographs, highlighting details of the spaces to make the place look like a special place. You can try inserting a glass with flowers on a table, it will allow you to have a less empty scene and add some colour to the image.
3. Take care of the framing
Make sure that the vertical lines are straight and parallel and do not converge upwards or downwards. This can be achieved by using a tripod.

During the composition of the photograph, take care of the balance between the right and left side and make sure that the floor and ceiling are being shown in the right position.
4. Always use a tripod
This accessory is indispensable for always having straight lines and for long exposure shots. It is also indispensable when taking composite pictures.
5. Editing is important
You can correct some aspects such as contrast, shadows, highlights and if necessary adjust the framing of the photograph.
Editing is important especially for correcting images taken in difficult lighting conditions. For example, when you have very bright dark areas in the same scene.
If you need advice on how to adjust your camera, you can find some settings for photographing interior architecture in this article.
