Faro Barcelona has donated over 4,700 lights to the NGO Remar. This organisation, which is headquartered in Spain, focuses on helping people at risk of social exclusion and giving them the opportunity to study and work. 
The NGO helps 60,000 people across five continents and has over 35 years’ experience. Our lamps, which include flexo lamps, kid’s applique lights and Christmas lights, will be distributed among Remar’s different centres in Spain to illuminate hospital rooms, reception centres and schools.
We would like to thank Javier Egea and Augustín Hernansanz, founders of the Escuela de la Ilusión, who helped us manage the donation and find the foundation that was able to receive the amount of material and put it to good use. We also want to congratulate Remar Catalunya for its committment and speed in collecting the material and distributing it to the centres with the greatest need. Its work has helped many people have a better future than the one dealt to them by fate. Through our donation, we are happy to help people and organisations that contribute to creating a society in which it is possible to have a second chance.
