The beginning of the new year marks the arrival of our new 2024 catalogues.
This year, as a novelty, the catalogue has been divided into 4 sections: indoor, outdoor, architectural and fan. Each catalogue has been prepared with care by our entire team, without losing focus on an honest, close and accessible design.
On this occasion, a greater number of new features are added to the Faro range, including local production and design and innovative production processes, such as the use of 3D printing with recycled materials . In this way, Faro Barcelona strives to meet the objectives of sustainability with whom we have committed ourselves, understanding that this is not only the best direction, but it is the only alternative.
In this sense, each catalogue contains a wide range of repairable and customizable products, designed to guarantee longer useful life of the product.
These new catalogues incorporate lighting and ventilation solutions designed to be versatile and adaptable to all types of projects, without losing focus on well-being and comfort. And, without further ado, we invite you to discover what's new this year.
INDOOR
This year, we added a wide range of new features to our interior lighting catalogue. The arrival of new luminaires brings reminiscences of various inspirations and trends:
- Japanese and Asian inspiration across the board, combining minimalism and craftsmanship without compromising its timelessness.
- Nordic trends, with oak finishes and simple lines.
- Recovery of the retro of the 50s and 60s, playing with geometric shapes, but without losing focus on versatility and a twist of modernity.
In addition to the incorporation of new arrival products, some of the existing families have been expanded with new possibilities that include new structures and new finishes following current decorative trends. This is the case of the STUDIO family, which now comes in a floor lamp, wall lamp and pendant lamp version, and finishes in new pastel tones, including Peach Fuzz, declared by Pantone as the colour of 2024.
OUTDOOR
Our outdoor range incorporates new lighting solutions and expands some of the most successful families with new materials, structures and finishes.
Among the new features for 2024 outdoors, we find:
- Lighting solutions adaptable to all types of surfaces and with all types of functionality: attachable as tree projectors, hanging ceiling lamps, beacons, wall lights, etc This adaptability allows you to emphasize specific points on the exterior, whether plants, reliefs or silhouettes.
- Options with direct or indirect light have been added and help to create scenes of architectural and minimalist character, without ceasing to illuminate or losing interest in minimalist structures that do not steal the focus of external beauty.
- In addition to the minimalist design characteristic of outdoor luminaires, designs such as CUCA appear, with a scenographic character and which also provides a decorative twist thanks to the use of architectural structures that camouflage themselves at night and appear as points of light that float in the darkness.
Likewise, in addition to minimalist and architectural designs, options with a decorative and industrial nature appear, as is the case of the new SCUBA LOUVER, which comes as a wall light and hanging lamp and adds a decorative twist for outdoors and also suitable for indoors.
ARCHITECTURAL
The Faro Barcelona technical family continues to grow and incorporate new functionalities. This year, the architectural catalogue becomes more versatile thanks to the incorporation of minimalist models adjustable to all types of scenography.
Following the new trends of biophilic decoration, we welcome LEAF lighting, which, thanks to the incorporation of new technologies, manages to accompany the photosynthesis of plants and vegetation in general through a lighting system that encourages their growth and flowering without compromising visual comfort. Biophilia is an emerging design trend that aims to naturalize the indoor environment, which reduces stress and promotes greater productivity and creativity. This makes it an ideal decorative trend for offices. In this direction, Faro Barcelona launches Target and Via in its LEAF version, ready to offer themselves as direct alternatives to supply this function within the biophilic design.
FAN
The family of ceiling fans welcomes new members of the catalogue and, as usual, extensions of pre-existing families.
Faro Barcelona takes a firm step towards the use of DC motors (or direct current), so our best-sellers in AC motor have been replaced by their DC version, which is not only energetically more efficient than AC motors, but they are also quieter and have greater durability. The use of the DC motor provides other functionalities such as the possibility of rotating in a greater range of speeds, offering reverse function to adapt it to the season of the year and, as if that were not enough, they are easier to install. This is the case of MINI MALLORCA, ALO or LUZON.
The new additions to the ventilation catalogue include options with a light kit and smart fan. In this way, the fans are optimized in functionality, turning them into an element of lighting, ventilation and decoration, all in one. The comfort of its smart option allows you to control them through home automation systems such as Alexa, Google Home or Siri from anywhere, using your smartphone as a remote control.
Finally, new IP44 options are added to the catalogue, optimal for outdoors thanks to their anti-corrosion treatment on metal parts. This is the case of MARINE and PALMA, which can also be adapted to interiors and can also be purchased in a smart version and with a light kit.
