Capturing that suspended moment between sea and land, between the journey and the arrival.
This is the concept behind Yacht Club, a space designed by Bëlnest by House of Kujawa & Francisco Díaz for Marbella Design & Art, transporting visitors to the deck of a yacht anchored in a peaceful cove, where time seems to move at a different pace.

The proposal is built around a serene Mediterranean atmosphere. Terracotta tones, natural textures, sand and tropical vegetation shape a landscape that evokes the coastline without relying on literal references. The space unfolds as a refuge where architecture, interior design and landscape design work together to recreate the sense of calm associated with life by the sea. As its creators explain, Yacht Club is "a place where the luxury of sailing meets the freedom of life by the sea."
The outdoor lighting, curated by Vilusen Project, plays a key role in this experience, supporting the project's narrative through controlled and precise illumination that highlights the richness of the vegetation and the volumes of the space without disturbing its balance. Our Cuca and Lily stake light collections become two of the most recognisable elements of the proposal, blending into the vegetation to create warm and subtle points of light that enhance the perception of the garden after dark.

Light is directed exclusively where it is needed, highlighting plant species, textures and pathways while preserving the darkness of the surroundings. This approach allows the space to be experienced from a more natural perspective, reducing light pollution and encouraging a visual experience that remains true to the project's relaxed essence.
The result is an intervention where every element contributes to a single narrative. Interior design, landscaping and lighting come together to create an atmosphere connected to the ideas of travel, rest and contemplation. A place that does not represent the arrival at a destination, but rather that moment just before it, when the promise of further exploration still lingers.
"When a yacht reaches the shore, the journey never ends. It simply begins again."
