Spain Sotheby’s International Realty opens its new flagship store in Marbella, strengthening its position as a benchmark in the luxury real estate market. The space is an architectural manifesto that redefines the real estate experience, designed by Teresa Sapey + Partners, who have been creating spaces that blend functionality and art for over thirty years.

The initial concept is based on Silent Luxury, a design philosophy that embraces understated exclusivity, without ostentation or excess. Timelessness is its goal. The inspiration came from Sotheby’s origins as a book auction house, incorporating a library as the central feature, symbolizing the brand’s knowledge and legacy.

The color palette uses soft, neutral tones such as off-white and greige—hallmark shades of Silent Luxury—highlighted by contrasting touches of mustard and blue, reflecting Sotheby’s visual identity. The result is a warm and welcoming atmosphere, both for clients and staff.

In line with this concept, the Marbella flagship incorporates the Isabelle collection, designed by Héctor Serrano, who was recently awarded the National Design Award in Spain. The Isabelle luminaires stand out for their wavy glass lampshades, sculptural in character and with a strong aesthetic sensitivity. For this project, two different models from the collection have been combined, creating an elegant composition that underscores the serene nature of Sapey’s design.

This opening marks a new chapter in the evolution of Spain Sotheby’s International Realty. After unifying under a single national identity, the firm is expanding its presence in strategic locations and strengthening its role as a key intermediary for high-level international buyers and investors.
Marbella thus becomes a key piece in the global network of Spain Sotheby’s International Realty, with over 1,100 offices, and a privileged location for identifying opportunities in the competitive off-market segment.
