Faro Barcelona lights up the Casa Decor ballroom
Tao Iluminación is in charge of lighting the space called “Salón de Baile” at the new Casa Decor Madrid building. For this, it chose Faro Barcelona light fixtures to reinforce the idea and style of this spot.

The builder, The Corner Group, took ballrooms from 1903 to the present day as its inspiration. This spot came about under the premise of “Open space with good lighting, perimeter furniture and a central void for dancing.”

Dance, especially ballet, is the leading player of this light-filled space. To give the sensation of movement and using chandeliers as inspiration, the room has four suspended swings.

The geometry moves from the ceiling to the floor, providing the room with dimension and complexity. The distortion of the glass makes the light play in the space and creates reflections. For this reason, five ERMA hanging lamps were chosen, whose glass body accentuates the theatricality of the space.

The goal of The Corner Group is to create “an open space with good lighting, perimeter furniture and a central void that enables the development of dance.”

In the entrance, the HOSHI table top welcomes the visitor with warm, faint light that invites you in.

The result is a modern ballroom that is contemporary and at the same time combines mobility, light and ballet.
