The Five oh Five studio presents the Blue House, a single-family home in the residential area of La Manzanilla, in La Laguna, Tenerife. This house, designed for a family of four, stands out for its dynamic design composed of cubic volumes that create spacious and bright areas.

Design and Materials
Each room in the Blue House is presented as an independent volume with varied heights. The large windows and double-leaf doors, which open completely to the garden, allow for impressive views of Mount Teide and the Anaga mountains. This feature connects the interior with the exterior, following the trend of integrating both spaces and conceiving the home as a refuge.
The choice of natural and uncoated materials, such as concrete, wood, and volcanic block, provides an honest and durable aesthetic, typical of Canarian architecture. This palette of natural and limited materials highlights the authenticity of the design.
Outdoor Lighting
Lighting plays a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and functionality of the Blue House. Outside, the Moon wall lights, with their distinctive round glass shade, illuminate the facades and outdoor spaces. These lights not only highlight the natural textures and volumes of the house but also create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for enjoying the outdoors at night.

At the main entrance, the Scuba wall light, placed vertically, provides direct and efficient lighting. This design enhances safety by illuminating the entrance, as well as adding a modern and stylish touch to the house's access.

The white recessed lights Nat are used on the terrace of the Blue House, defining the space and providing subtle and welcoming lighting. The white finish of these recessed lights contrasts with the blue walls, creating an attractive and functional visual effect.

Color Palette
Color is also a protagonist in the Blue House. The facades, picturesque and cheerful, play with pure tones that reflect the family character of the home. This chromatic approach extends to elements such as shutters, visors, and carpentry, which can be lacquered in vibrant colors, alleviating the sobriety of the interior and adding a touch of personality.
The Blue House combines a dynamic and functional design with a harmonious integration of natural materials and a vibrant color palette. The careful choices in lighting and finishes highlight its picturesque and welcoming character, making this home a unique family refuge in La Laguna.
