Gon Architects presents Casa Flix, the renovation of an attic in Callao, Madrid. A space of small dimensions where the aim was to create a flexible, diverse, and luminous dwelling.

The renovation involved redistributing the dwelling into four spaces: bedroom/walk-in closet, entrance, workspace/bathroom, and kitchen/living/dining area. Attics in the city centre are appealing for their good views and are sometimes associated with a bohemian lifestyle.

The bathroom occupies the heart of the house. In it, and in the bedroom, one of our Faro Lab wall sconces was used: May. Its pastel green finish allows it to blend perfectly with the mood of Casa Flix, which makes use of pastel colours to provide warmth and a touch of comfort to this attic.

In the living/dining area, which is the darkest room in Casa Flix, our plaster sconce Luna was used. Paired with a pale yellow matte compact laminate wall, Luna provides an indirect light ideal for creating warm and ambient lighting.

The result of this renovation makes Casa Flix a practical and charismatic dwelling, located in a building very close to the bustling Callao square.
