On April 16th, in Vicente López, Buenos Aires, something different began to take shape inside the showroom of Estudio Trae.
The idea was clear: to create a meeting point for architects and interior designers where design, lighting and new ways of understanding space would take center stage. A space where interior lighting, neuroarchitecture and materiality came together naturally.

The showroom itself is a clear expression of Estudio Trae’s universe: bespoke spaces, noble materials, craftsmanship and a simple, honest aesthetic. Every piece and every corner reflect a carefully considered process, focused on wellbeing. That’s why the synergy between Faro Barcelona and Estudio Trae felt natural, built on a shared conceptual vision. Lighting that leans into calm, designed to enhance people’s wellbeing. This alignment made it possible to shape a coherent atmosphere, where light blends in and supports the tranquility of the space.

The highlight of the day was the talk by Manuela Berraz, architect and lighting designer specialized in neuroarchitecture and sensitive architecture. Her talk focused on how design directly shapes people’s experiences, approaching architecture as a blend of craft and science. A perspective that invites us to read spaces through emotional and sensory layers, and that is steadily gaining ground within the field of architecture and design in Argentina.

Throughout the event, the showroom gradually turned into a space for genuine exchange. Professionals from the sector shared ideas, experiences and perspectives in an environment that engaged the senses. The experience was rounded off with wines from Bodega Familia Schroeder, adding another layer and reinforcing the relaxed atmosphere that made people want to stay.
Being part of these kinds of gatherings in Buenos Aires strengthens a way of understanding design where architectural lighting plays a key role in shaping spaces with identity. Moments where connections are built, ideas are shared and a more conscious way of designing takes shape.
Thanks to Estudio Trae for opening their space and making this meeting possible, to Manuela Berraz for sharing her perspective, and to all the collaborators who, together with us, contributed to making this event even more special.
Buenos Aires continues to stand out as a key hub for connecting design, light and people.
