Faro Barcelona has successfully passed the sustainability audit carried out by EcoVadis and has been awarded a prestigious Medal in recognition of its sustainability efforts and achievements.
The audit, conducted by EcoVadis, a leading global sustainability rating company, assessed Faro Barcelona's processes, practices and policies in key sustainability areas such as environmental management, labour and ethical practices, supply chain and corporate social responsibility.
Each year, EcoVadis examines companies' policies, activities, measures and data, assessing them against international sustainability standards such as GRI and ISO 2600. These assessments focus on four key areas: environment, social and human rights, ethics and responsible procurement. This provides a comprehensive view of how a company performs in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) over a given period.
With this distinction, Faro Barcelona reaffirms its ongoing commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility in all its facets and operations.
"We are very pleased to have obtained this recognition, and it encourages us to continue our quest for excellence in sustainability, which has been pursuing for some time now. This recognition further boosts our commitment to improve and continue to strengthen our commitment to a more sustainable model".
"Our immediate objective is to implement an action plan to consolidate our position as a leading company in terms of sustainability, with an increasingly responsible and respectful management of society and the environment".
