The kitchen is one of the most renovated spaces of a house. Sometimes, it is hard to find lamps that fit perfectly the style of the kitchen that also offer low energy consumption.
For this loft that features a kitchen opened to the living room, the team of Segah. Designs and Projects, in charge of the project and the end result, chose lamps from Faro Barcelona to illuminate the kitchen.
This attic features a large window that leads to the balcony and provides a huge amount of natural light. However, because the kitchen is a very long space, it was necessary to provide adequate lighting to eliminate shadows and make the space more comfortable for cooking and gathering.
For general lighting, they went for round warm LED light (4000K) recessed lamps that provide a sense of regular and consistent lighting to the entire space. To reinforce the lighting over the kitchen island, the one bulb LINK wall lamp, by Estudi Ribaudí, was used to highlight the metal finish of the decorative wall and provide extra lighting.
Over the table, three TEMPO pendant lamps, in black with golden interior, provide the warmth necessary to enjoy fine dining. The pendant lamps maintain the horizontal alignment of the kitchen, however, at the same time, they gently brake the structure given that they are the only elements that physically stand out, as well as the table, which is a bit wider than the island.
The black color of the lamps provide a contrast to the pure white of the kitchen, complementing the wood of the surfaces and matching the color of the chairs.
