From 9th to 14th April, we took part for the fifth time in Euroluce, the space dedicated to lighting at Salone del Mobile in Milano.
It is one of the most important fairs in the world of furniture and lighting and had over 1,150 international companies dedicated to design, the great highlight of the show.
We travelled to Milan with scenery by Michaela Mezzavila, who was in charge of designing the stand under the concept of wellbeing, energy, commitment and consciousness. Of open spaces and warm materials, the spirit of Faro Barcelona could be felt in each corner of the stand. An ideal environment that we completed with the collaboration of ENEA and its stools.
Visitors, architects, designers and interior designers, among others, were able to enjoy our latest proposals in a relaxed setting. Models such as LE VITA, PURE, MOOD, LE PETIT, HOOK, BRONX, MASK and LOTUS in lighting and JUST FAN and POLEA in ventilation, triumphed among a large offering.
Under the slogan “Living on the bright side“, we wanted to convey, in a fresh and original way, our vision of the design of objects. Convinced that these are much more than that, that they convey emotions and identify us, we created different profiles for each lifestyle. You can discover them here.
Creativity and technology were also protagonists in our proposals. Models and ideas in full development stage were presented to get to know our clients’ point of view.
But, one of our principle highlights was without a doubt the presentation of the project MAKE IT. A portable light totally customisable thanks to 3D printing that was started at the fair itself, where we were printing different casings throughout the meeting. MAKE IT enables the base to be purchased, and the diffusor to be designed and printed on a 3D printer prepared for this. Or, if there is no software, choose from one of the designs that Faro Barcelona has put together.
And, to complete our proposal’s sensory experience, we also have virtual reality glasses where you can see the designs in an actual residential space and get to know all their details. We did it with the “BIM as request” technology, a collaborative method that is practical to integrate and that enables manufacturers, architects, engineers, etc. to work together for the execution of projects.
These were some very intense and happy days! And, we wanted to make the most of the zeal that is experienced in the city during Fuorisalone with two activities in Brera Design District: the exhibition of Centre del Disseny y Cluster Habitat, and the HUS Milano showroom.
Ultimately, Euroluce 2019 was a week full of inspiration, emotion and design. Another great chance to get closer to all those who feel and enjoy, like we do, the brighter side of life.
