“To design, I only need a pencil, observation and, above all, silence”
The LULA lamp, designed by Marina Milà, is one of the new proposals by Faro Barcelona for 2014. A designer lamp which reflects the creative talent of its designer and perfectly represents the brand’s philosophy: simple but ingenious ideas.
LULA is based on two geometric shapes: a rectangular structure and a cylinder suspended inside it. “I wanted something unique, light and elegant. This element is taken to its maximum simplicity, achieving balance between its shape and function. It can be said to be a sculpture-style decorative object during the day, and a subtle desk table at night”, according to its designer.
This designer lamp is a multi-purpose piece, either a desk or a floor lamp, available in two sizes and in three color combinations: white/ black and white/ olive green and dark green. All the shades are in line with the current trends, so they can be adapted and integrated into multiple rooms.
For Marina Milà, creating is a process that begins by noting down her idea in the “notebook” that she always carries with her, then she perfects and refines it until its realization.
